Affiliated to Bowls England: SCBA: WSBA: SCWBA.
We are a small club offering the opportunity to meet new friends and
have lots of fun in a relaxed and informal way. New members are always
welcome and, for the novice bowler, tuition and coaching is available.
Bowls is a very sociable game that can be enjoyed by people of all
ages and abilities, and at many levels, from competitive inter club
matches to friendly “roll ups” on club evenings. There are also many
social events to be enjoyed throughout the year such as Fish&Chip
Suppers and our Annual Presentation Dinner.
Club Evenings - Every Tuesday from 6.00pm until 15th September.
These are now well underway and already a number of new and prospective members have been attending. Posters have been distributed around the villages inviting all to come along and "give bowls a try". It's a great opportunity to find out about the game and to see if it suits you.Club members will be on hand to give coaching and advice.
Saturday 31st October - Autumn Jumble Sale.
This takes place in the Shere Village Hall, and is one of the important fund raising events, without which the club could not survive. Help is needed in the morning for setting up and in the afternoon for selling.
